1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website (“Site”) and our services, including making one-time or recurring donations, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
2. Definitions
“We” / “Us” refers to Operation Wellness Shield, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
“You” / “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the Site.
“Services” include all content, functionalities, donation processing, recurring contributions, and other offerings available via the Site.
3. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
4. Use of Website
4.1 You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and notifying us promptly of unauthorized use.
5. Donations and Payments
5.1 Payment Processing
All payments (including one-time and recurring donations) are processed securely via trusted payment processors such as Fiserv or its authorized partners. These third parties handle your payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards.
5.2 Security
We use TLS/SSL encryption for payment transactions. However, we cannot be held responsible for issues occurring due to factors outside our control during data transmission.
5.3 Recurring Donations
Authorization: By enrolling in a recurring donation program, you authorize Operation Wellness Shield to automatically charge your chosen payment method at the frequency and amount you select (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually).
Billing Date: Recurring donations will be charged on the date initially selected during enrollment unless otherwise specified.
Changes to Payment Method: You may update your payment method by contacting us at [support email/phone]. Changes may take up to 3 business days to process.
Cancellation: You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by emailing contact@wellness-shield.org or calling (919) 356-0862 at least 3 business days before the next scheduled payment. Cancellations take effect for future charges only; past donations are nonrefundable unless required by law.
Failed Payments: If a payment is declined, we will attempt to process it again or contact you for updated payment information.
5.4 Refunds
Due to the charitable nature of donations, all contributions are generally nonrefundable. Refunds may be issued only in cases of error or as required by applicable law.
6. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Operation Wellness Shield, its partners (including payment processors such as Fiserv), officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and payment information. By making a donation, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the policies of our payment processor(s).
9. Intellectual Property
All Site content is owned or licensed by Operation Wellness Shield and protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party sites, including payment processors. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site or Services at any time for any reason.
